Children all gave similar descriptions of a Hispanic man in his early 20s with facial hair who drove a green, four-door sedan.

MERRICK -  Nassau police have released a sketch of a man they believe has been approaching children in Merrick and Bellmore.

Authorities say there have been at least 10 incidents in which a man approached children near schools. Children all gave similar descriptions of a Hispanic man in his early 20s with facial hair who drove a green, four-door sedan.

Authorities say they are upping patrols in the area until the suspect is caught.

Anyone with information is urged to call Nassau police at 516-573-6151.
