KINGS POINT - Police released today surveillance photos which they say show a man who is suspected of attempting to break into a Kings Point home yesterday.

As News 12 Long Island reported, the suspect tried to break into a home on Gay Drive yesterday morning, but took off after realizing that there were people inside.

According to authorities, the suspect may be responsible for six other burglaries in the Great Neck-Kings Point area over the last several months.

Police also believe the suspect may be the same man who attacked a Hempstead woman with a hammer and raped a 2-year-old in Texas.
