BAY SHORE - Police say a man’s body was found lying on a street in North Bay Shore Thursday morning.

Officers responded to Manatuck Boulevard, just north of Cedar Drive, at 5:35 a.m. after a 911 call reported a man on the street next to his bicycle.

Officials have identified the man as Naim Isiah Al-Hakeem, 21, of Bay Shore. A preliminary examination determined Al-Hakeem had been shot.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
