Police: Man with interlock device drove high on drugs

Suffolk County police say a man who was pulled over in Holbrook last night for swerving was driving high on drugs, despite having an interlock

BLUE POINT - Suffolk County police say a man who was pulled over in Holbrook last night for swerving was driving high on drugs, despite having an interlock device in his car. Authorities say 34-year-old Justin Mullany, of Blue Point, was stopped on County Road 19. Mullany told police he was swerving because he was trying to blow into the interlock device. Police say he was ordered to get the gadget because of a previous drunken driving conviction. Police say the device in Mullany's car is designed to test for alcohol, not drugs. He faces a charge of driving while ability impaired.
