LINDENHURST - A man stole a donation jar meant for troops overseas last week in Lindenhurst, police say.

The theft at King Auto Service Centers on Sunrise Highway was caught on surveillance video.

More than $100 was in the jar at the time.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
