NEW HYDE PARK - Police have released surveillance pictures of a man they say robbed a 7-Eleven store in New Hyde Park.

Authorities say he walked into the store on Hillside Avenue with a white T-shirt covering his face.

They say he told the cashier he had a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled on foot.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
