UNIONDALE - Police in Nassau County say a 36-year-old man shot and killed his estranged wife before turning the gun on himself.
Police say the bodies of Emile Pierre Jr. and Camille Pierre, 31, were found in a parked car on Sunday.
The van was parked on the street at the intersection of Warwick Street and Arcadia Avenue just south of Hempstead Turnpike.
Sources tell New 12 Long Island that the couple had been fighting about their four children.
Police say Camille had an order of protection against her husband and that he had been arrested before for violating that order.
