BRENTWOOD - Police say a man was killed in a Brentwood hit-and-run while crossing the street at about 11 p.m. last night.

Authorities say the man was hit by a car while crossing Suffolk Avenue and, witnesses say, a second car then struck the man again, potentially delivering a fatal blow. The driver of the second vehicle sped off.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
