Police say a man was found dead behind an apartment building in Hempstead last night. According to police, they found the man in his 20s lying on the sidewalk behind the building on Fulton Avenue. Cops say they went to the scene around 6 p.m. after getting a call about gunshots fired. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
