BOHEMIA - Police say a ‘stranger danger’ incident previously reported in the Connetquot School District may not be anything at all.

The district had reported that a female high school student was approached by a black male yesterday afternoon on Hill Drive near Connetquot High School.

The district initially notified police and parents of the issue.

Police say they have identified the man who was in the area picking up a family member at school.

According to police, the incident does not appear to be criminal.
