MEDFORD - Suffolk police have arrested a man after two frightening incidents in the Medford School District.

Authorities say a security guard saw a suspicious male on the roof of Tremont Elementary School yesterday at around 5:30 p.m. When the guard went to a door to try and confront him, the man fled.

At 11 p.m. last night, police say they responded to Oregon Middle School after an alarm went off. They say a delivery of milk and bread left outside was stolen.

Edward Weiss, of North Patchogue, has now been charged with criminal trespass in the third degree. More charges may be filed, authorities say.
