EAST MEADOW - Nassau police say they have made three drug arrests linked to a non-fatal heroin overdose.

Detectives say 68-year-old Anthony Ingenito, of East Meadow, was accused of being reponsible after a Westbury resident overdosed on heroin back on Feb. 16. Ingenito was arrested at his home on March 10 and allegedly had 500 bags of heroin in his possession at the time.

Authorities say that an investigation revealed the source of Ingenito's heroin supply. Police say they conducted a "buy" operation  in Bellmore, and were able to arrest two suspects from the Woodhaven section of Queens.

Those suspects have been identified as 33-year-old Julius Perez and 29-year-old Sahily Lapaz.

Ingenito is facing numerous charges, including criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy.

Perez is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Lapaz is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.
