LYNBROOK - An alleged drug dealer was arrested in a sting operation just hours after police say a person he sold heroin to overdosed.

Authorities say a woman in Lynbrook was revived by Narcan after overdosing on heroin Wednesday afternoon. Lynbrook police and Nassau narcotics officers then launched a full investigation to find out where the potentially fatal heroin came from.

By searching the victim's cellphone, police set up a meeting with 35-year-old Josef Dahari, of Woodmere, who they believed to be her drug dealer.

Authorities say they agreed to meet an unsuspecting Dahari at the CVS on Merrick Road in Lynbrook. Police say when Dahari arrived, he had 85 bags of heroin on him.

According to court documents, the glassine bags were "imprinted with black ABC." Police say the victim had overdosed on heroin that had been branded the same way.

According to court records, Dahari has no prior convictions. He was arraigned on drug charges and held on $350,000 bond.
