BRENTWOOD - Police have identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run in Brentwood yesterday.

Authorities report that the driver of the car that killed 24-year-old Adrian Roberts may have left the victim lying for hours next to his mangled bike on Jefferson Avenue in Brentwood last night.

Roberts was struck by the car while riding his bicycle.

A passing driver found his body.

Anyone who may have seen this incident is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
