Police ID body in Fire Island Inlet as missing boater

FIRE ISLAND - Police have identified the body found in the water off Fire Island Inlet as the boater that had been missing since last week.

Authorities say Roberto Vazquez, of West Babylon, was found in the inlet on Monday.

Vazquez, 50, went missing after a boat he was on overturned in the Fire Island Inlet last week.

Two other men on the overturned boat survived the incident.
