Police: Gas station attendant shot during holdup

HUNTINGTON STATION - Police are searching for the gunman who shot a gas station attendant during a holdup in Huntington Station. 

The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. at the USA Gas Station on New York Avenue and Depot Road. 

Police say a man with a ski mask demanded cash from the attendant, but the worker refused. 

The employee was shot in the leg and taken to Huntington Hospital. The gunman took off.
