WOODBURY - New York State Police arrested Dina Lohan last night for allegedly driving drunk.

Police say they observed a white BMW traveling westbound on the Northern State Parkway at a speed of 77 mph in a 55 mph zone.

According to police, Lohan, 50, of Merrick, was found to be intoxicated.

Lohan was arrested on charges of DWI and aggravated DWI after a Breathalyzer revealed her blood alcohol to be twice the legal limit, police say.

After being taken into custody, police say Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the arrest. Police say that when emergency personnel arrived and evaluated her, there were no injuries and she recanted her claim.

Lohan was issued traffic tickets for two DWI offenses and speeding.

Lohan was later released to a third party and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24.
