HUNTINGTON STATION - Officials say a Good Samaritan tried to move a downed tree that was blocking a Huntington Station street, but ended up making things worse.

The tree fell on East Pulaski Road in Huntington Station around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say a man started dragging the tree away with his truck, but damaged four vehicles in the process.
