Police say a suspected crook is in the hospital after picking a fight with the wrong cab driver.
Authorities say Donald Canham tried to rob a cabbie last night on 17th Street in Jericho. Police say the driver, a former federal law enforcement officer, pulled out his licensed handgun and opened fire after taking a few punches to the head.
Canham was shot in the leg. He is now under arrest....
