WEST ISLIP - Divers have found the missing body of a West Islip man under the Robert Moses Causeway after an early Saturday morning boat crash.

Police say 39-year-old Christopher Mannino was on a fishing boat heading to a shark fishing tournament when it was struck by a speed boat driven by a man who was allegedly drunk at the time.

The crash happened shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday morning when the speedboat, driven by Brian Andreski, 26, of Dix Hills, collided with Mannino's fishing boat. Mannino was thrown overboard and his body was not found until around 1:30 p.m.

Andreski and his passenger were injured but are expected to be OK.
