PATCHOGUE - Suffolk police have confirmed that the body found earlier today is a missing Patchogue mother.

Officials say the body of Nicole Tessa, 31, was found in the woods near her home on Prince Street. Tessa was last seen alive in her driveway Friday.

Tessa's husband, Joseph Jones, says they had an argument, he left, and when he came back later she was gone. Tessa's relatives say she had left her cell phone and seizure medication behind.

Last night, they put up posters around area shopping malls, asking for information.

Neighbors say the couple fought often. However, Jones told News 12 Long Island that the fights had never escalated to where she would run away.

Authorities say no arrests have been made at this time and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
