Daniel St. Hubert was arrested last night near Kennedy Airport, less than two weeks after he was released from jail on a domestic assault charge on May 23.

BROOKLYN - Police say a man has been arrested minutes after they released his identity as the Brooklyn child slasher. 

Daniel St. Hubert was arrested last night near Kennedy Airport,  less than two weeks after he was released from jail on a domestic assault charge on May 23.

St. Hubert has a history of violent assaults and nine prior arrests.

Cops say St. Hubert left DNA on the knife he used to kill a 6-year- old boy and critically injured a 7-year-old girl Sunday night. 
 
Police will now use DNA to see if the parolee is also responsible for killing a Brooklyn nursing student.
