Police arrest Christopher Golsby in Central Islip drug deal, shooting

WOODBURY - A fourth suspect has been arrested for his alleged role in a drug deal and shooting in Central Islip.

Suffolk police say they arrested Christopher Golsby, 30, and have charged him with robbery.

Police say Golsby was one of a group of men who robbed 3 pounds of marijuana from a group of drug dealers on Prospect Street and Ridge Avenue in Central Islip on April 23.

Golsby, June Colon, Guillermo Quinones and Rene Barahona then allegedly took off and led a brief car chase where gunshots were fired.
