Police believe four robberies in three communities were the work of the same pack of thieves.

WOODBURY - Police believe four robberies in three communities were the work of the same pack of thieves.

Authorities say two men robbed a man of his cellphone, cash and a backpack on Hicksville Road in Bethpage at 11:25 p.m. on July 19.

Then, at 12:50 a.m., authorities say three men robbed another male victim of his cellphone and cash in Plainview.

Police say two men then stole backpacks and cellphones from two female victims at 1:15 a.m. in Hicksville. About five minutes later, police say two men robbed two male victims of their cellphones and cash in Hicksville.

Detective Sgt. John Giambrone is urging residents to be aware of their surroundings.

Police ask anyone with information on these robberies to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
