WYANDANCH - Police are searching for the person who shot and injured two women in Wyandanch early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. on South 19th Street. Police say 21-year-old Kindra Green and 20-year-old Nyasia Bullock, both of Wyandanch, were standing on the street when two shots were fired by an unknown suspect.

Police say Green was shot in the leg, and Bullock suffered graze wounds to her hand and knee. The victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, and both were treated and released.

Anyone who has information is being urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
