NEW CASSEL - ? Police say two teens are accused of robbing a New Cassel convenience store and then coming back to attack a worker.

Authorities say the teens, ages 13 and 15 years old, were caught stealing hair relaxer from the K&B 99-cents store on Prospect Avenue yesterday afternoon.

The teens ran off, but police say they later returned for a cell phone they left behind. The teens then allegedly confronted the worker and slashed him in the face with a broken bottle.

The store owner says the worker is still in serious condition at Nassau University Medical Center.

The teens are charged with assault, larceny and criminal possession of a weapon.
