WOODBURY - A plane registered to a Long Island native was involved in a deadly crash in Connecticut today.

The single-engine e-piper went down near the town of Killingworth, about 20 miles east of New Haven.

The FAA tells News 12 Long Island that one person on the plane was killed and a second was hospitalized.

Officials have not yet released the names of the victims, but say the plane was registered to a Wading River native.
