WASHINGTON - Capitol Police are investigating a bloodypig's foot sent to Rep. Peter King's (R-Seaford) office in Washington.
The Long Island congressman chairs the House Homeland Securitypanel which held hearings last month on Islamic radicalization.
The package was discovered by mail screeners before it wasdelivered to King's office.
A King spokesman says the congressman was notified of thepackage on Monday afternoon.
The package contained a pig's foot and a note laced with severalanti-Semitic references, according to a person with knowledge ofthe incident who requested anonymity because of the ongoing policeinvestigation. King is Catholic.
