WOODBURY - Suffolk County Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone spoke with News 12 Long Island this morning about the state of the county after the blizzard.

Bellone said County Road 83 has been crippled by the storm, and people have been stranded for hours on many major roadways.

State police say the parkways with the largest number of stuck vehicles are the Sagtikos and Southern State. 

Parts of the LIE are still shut down in Suffolk County.

Bellone said emergency services are helping people get their cars out of the snow.
