SYOSSET - The dancers at Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts received guest instruction from Philadanco! The Philadelphia Dance Company during a special session Tuesday.

Thanks to a sponsorship from The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, the Long Island students got the chance to learn from the high energy company that has been celebrating diversity and creativity since the 1970s.

The students at the school study many forms of dance including ballet, technique and modern jazz.

Philadanco! will be performing at the Tilles Center on Jan. 24.
