Person struck on tracks in Westbury; LIRR back on schedule after delays

An unauthorized person on the tracks was struck by a train in Westbury on Monday.

WESTBURY - An unauthorized person on the tracks was struck by a train in Westbury on Monday.

The Long Island Rail Road experienced delays during the evening rush but is once again operating on or close to schedule.

The person who was struck has not yet been identified.
