CENTRAL ISLIP - Police say a drunken driver is facing multiple charges after killing a pedestrian in Central Islip last night.

According to police, Leonard Hoppie, 20, of Central Islip, was driving drunk with his 10-year-old brother in the car when he hit and killed the unidentified man.

The incident happened at the intersection of Cordello Avenue and Clayton Street just after 10 p.m.

Hoppie is facing several charges, including DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.
