FRANKLIN SQUARE - Just days before Christmas, there's a rally this afternoon to keep the book open on a Catholic school in Franklin Square.
Half-a-dozen Catholic elementary schools are set to close their doors in June on Long Island. Hundreds of parents and kids have already rallied to try to save some of those schools.
The rally this afternoon is taking place outside St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic School in Franklin Square.
If the school closes, 193 kids will have to transfer.
