HICKSVILLE - News 12 Long Island has learned it has been a rough start to the school year, with bus delays and missed pick-ups.

Parents in the Hicksville School District are fuming after telling News 12 their new bus company Baumann & Sons is experiencing delays. 

A spokesperson for the school says, "Please be assured, the district is diligently working with their bus contractor to ensure all concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner."

News 12 placed a call into the bus company and is still waiting to hear back from them.
