HEMPSTEAD - The parents of a teen killed by a hit-and-run driver last year are appealing for the public's help in tracking down a suspect.

Oscar Veliz, 16, was killed when a gold Toyota Camry struck him and left him to die on Clinton Avenue in Hempstead last Oct. 18.
