NORTHPORT - Parents in Northport say their kids can't play in their local park because it's falling apart.

Scudder Park has had rusty playground equipment, weeds, exposed construction materials and litter for about a year.

"It's such a beautiful spot, it's kind of the ugly stepchild now," said one person at the park.

Neighbors said they feel Scudder Park has been forgotten, and have been asking the village to improve the look of the park.

News 12 reached out to village officials, but has not heard back yet.
