RONKONKOMA - Dozens of parents attended a Sachem Board of Education meeting on Wednesday to discuss planned budget cuts.

Full-day kindergarten was put on the chopping block after voters turned down the district's 7.5-percent budget proposal last month. Residents will vote on the new proposed budget June 18.
