Owner of unoccupied Jet Ski found at home

Officials say the call came in about 6:30 a.m. to report the incident.

LONG BEACH - Police tell News 12 that an unoccupied Jet Ski was found going around in circles under the Long Beach Bridge this morning.

Officials say the call came in just before 7 a.m. to report the incident.

According to police, the owner was at home at the time of the incident and has been found safe.

Police tell News 12 they are not searching for anyone in the water at this point.

It is unclear if there is a criminal investigation.

Sources tell News 12 that the ignition may have been tampered with.
