LONDON - The Olympic torch has made its last stop before tonight's opening ceremony of the summer games.

The torch lit up the Olympic Cauldron at London's Hyde Park. Earlier, the torch was carried past Prince William and Kate on the steps of Buckingham Palace.

This evening the torch will be brought to Olympic Stadium. Opening ceremonies will begin around 4 p.m. eastern standard time.
