Oil truck driver robbed while delivering to Hempstead home on Webster Avenue

Police say the man drove his truck to Webster Avenue on Tuesday afternoon for the delivery.

HEMPSTEAD - An oil truck driver was robbed while making a delivery to a Hempstead home.

Police say the man drove his truck to Webster Avenue on Tuesday afternoon for the delivery.

According to police, one man walked over pretending to be a homeowner while a second man held him up and took his wallet.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-224-TIPS.
