HUNTINGTON - Officials say a sailboat flipped in the Long Island Sound last night. The three men onboard were near Target Rock off Huntington when wind overturned their 23-foot boat around 6:30 p.m.
A man on Seacrest Drive in Lloyd Harbor saw what happened and called 911. Officials say in minutes, the Marine Bureau pulled Stephen Cozey and Matt Kruger, of Syosset, out of the water along with Trevor Howard, of Florida. Police say the men in their 20s were not wearing life jackets.
