SMITHTOWN - Officials say that the North Shore of Long Island may experience the most snow from tonight's storm.

As the bad weather bears down on the Island, residents in Smithtown say they are prepared.

Lenn Jorgensen, Smithtown's highway superintendent, says all of the crews and equipment needed to fight the storm are in place. He added that he doesn't think there will be any major issues like the problems experienced last month.

"I have about 150 vehicles, 150 employees," he said. "We're all ready."
