PORT JEFFERSON - Police say they found the body of a missing boater on the beach near the Old Field Lighthouse in Port Jefferson.

Officials identified the body as James Bilello, 73, of Bay Shore, who went missing after a boating mishap. The body of 80-year-old Charles Petrie, of Holtsville, was recovered in Port Jefferson Harbor yesterday.

The Coast Guard says the two men were fishing when something wrapped around the propeller of their 20-foot boat and caused it to overturn.

Officials say Biello's body was found around 11:30 a.m.
