WOODBURY - More than $2 million worth of heroin bound for Long Island has been seized by the feds, according to officials.

DEA agents say they found over 65 pounds of heroin hidden inside the axle of a truck's trailer.

Officials say the drugs were being driven from Mexico to New York.

According to officials, the heroin was slated to be sold wholesale to heroin distributors on the streets of of Long Island, New York City and across the Northeast.

Two men from Texas and Connecticut were arrested.
