WOODBURY - The Long Island Rail Road is changing its tune about ticket refunds.

MTA officials originally told Newsday they wouldn't give customers refunds on monthly or weekly LIRR tickets or 30-day MetroCards.

They said customers will still be charged a $10 refund fee on tickets that weren't used.

Now, an LIRR spokesperson says they won't charge the refund fee if customers say they were going to travel during the suspension period.
