WOODBURY - President Obama is expected to outline his plans for a troop withdrawal in Afghanistan tonight.

It is the first step of ending the longest war in United States history.

In a primetime address to the nation, Obama will announce plans to withdraw 10,000 U.S. forces within the next year.

Obama is also weighing a timeline for bringing home the rest of the 30,000 additional forces he sent to Afghanistan in 2009.
