WOODBURY - President Barack Obama held a press conference this morning, outlining his new $3.7 trillion budget.
The president said the budget will force the government to live "within its means" by decreasing wasteful spending, freezing federal salaries and cutting programs for low-income Americans.
Obama added that he is aware some critics complain the cuts are too deep, while others on Capitol Hill complain the cuts are not deep enough.
"All of these steps are going to be difficult," he said. "That's why all of them will require Democrats and Republicans to work together."
