NYPD: Kenneth Palache, of Huntington, charged in Brooklyn crash that killed 9-year-old
BROOKLYN - A man from Huntington is facing a slew of charges in a crash that killed a girl in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn yesterday.
Police say 62-year-old Kenneth Palache, of Huntington, has been arrested. They say officers tried to pull over Palache after an earlier hit-and-run when he took off and then slammed into two other vehicles.
A 9-year-old girl from Queens was killed. Five other people were hurt.
Palache is now facing charges that include criminally negligent homicide, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
