NY, NJ in tug-of-war over Jets

Whose team is the Jets anyway? That is the question that New York and New Jersey are trying to answer ahead of the AFC Championship

WOODBURY - Whose team is the Jets anyway? That is the question that New York and New Jersey are trying to answer ahead of the AFC Championship game.

Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) insists the team is part of his state because the Jets practice there and play home games in East Rutherford.

However, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) is of another opinion.

"It's the New York Jets," he says. "That's how the Jets want it. That's how the country wants it...sorry, Jersey."

The Jets will face off against the Steelers in the AFC Championship in Pittsburgh Sunday.
