Not guilty pleas from 3 men accused in Nassau police chase

WANTAGH - Three men accused of stealing tires in Wantagh yesterday and then leading police on a chase have entered not guilty pleas on a slew of charges today, including grand larceny. Officials arrested the three Queens men yesterday morning in Massapequa, where the pursuit ended. The incident began about three miles away in Wantagh after a neighbor spotted the men trying to steal tires and rims off a car. Cops chased the suspects to Massapequa, where one of the suspects drove onto someone's front lawn. One officer opened fire during the pursuit but no one was hit. Police are now investigating whether the men are the same suspects who stole nearly 100 tires from dozens of other vehicles from Merrick to Massapequa since January. Police: 3 in custody after pursuit ends in Massapequa
